The Short Version
I’m a St. Olaf grad with a natural instinct for computers, technology, and anything else shiny and new. Most importantly, I can understand your computer and better yet, I can translate that to you. Simply, with a smile.
The Long Version
It all started at OfficeMax in 2002. In my time as a lowly sales associate, I discovered that retail was actually about helping the customer (as opposed to the widely-held belief that "more sales = better employee").
From 2004-2008, I developed the concept of The Simple Service during my 4-year stay at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Working at the IT Helpdesk all 4 years, the simpler issues were put into perspective. The simplest issue became quickly apparent: we all deal with the same computer problems - slow internet, slow computers, and viruses. More importantly, these issues are minimal compared to the rest of our lives.
Like so many others in this world, I enjoy helping people. The Simple Service aims to help those who want to finally take control of their technology, without sacrificing the rest of their life. But not in a geeky way, just in a human way. A simple way.
